Collection of seized barang bukti (a SIM, STNK, or the vehicle itself) takes place at the General Crimes Section of the local Kejaksaan Negeri after the fine has been transferred to the Kas Negara (State Treasury).
Required Documents
- Proof of payment of the tilang (traffic ticket) fine (BRIVA slip / official receipt)
- The original tilang ticket sheet
- The original KTP (national identity card) of the owner or the offender
- Original proof of ownership, BPKB/STNK (only if the seized item is the motor vehicle itself)

Where is tilang barang bukti (seized evidence) kept?
Once the tilang process at the police has been completed, the seized evidence is handed over to the Kejaksaan Negeri office in the area where the violation took place.
What additional requirement applies if the seized item is a motorcycle or a car?
In addition to the fine payment receipt, the owner must present the original BPKB (proof of vehicle ownership) and a valid STNK to demonstrate that the vehicle documents are legitimate.
